Willow Tree is collected for what each piece represents as much as how it looks. Explore Angels, Figurines, Ornaments and Nativity by relationship, milestone, remembrance and the message you want a gift to carry.

The artist & the meaning
Small gestures. Lasting connections.
A tilted head, an outstretched hand, the space between two figures: Willow Tree invites you to find a familiar feeling in a simple gesture.
Meet Susan Lordi
Artist Susan Lordi creates the original Willow Tree sculptures in her Kansas City studio. Her work leaves room for personal interpretation: a pose can recall a friendship, a family bond or a moment that belongs only to you. The collection has developed from her designs since 1999.
Begin with what you want to say
Choose a sentiment before choosing a size. Gratitude, encouragement, love and remembrance lead to different pieces. Read the individual title and accompanying sentiment, then consider whether the gesture feels right for the person receiving it. A short handwritten note can explain the connection in your own words.
Find your form
Explore angels for winged expressions, figurines for relationships and everyday moments, ornaments for a hanging keepsake, or Nativity pieces for building a seasonal scene. Check each product’s dimensions and details before choosing a place for it.
A collection that grows with you
Start with one meaningful piece. Later additions can mark a new chapter rather than fill a shelf. Keep a record of names and SKUs to help avoid duplicates, and leave a little space around each figure so its gesture remains visible.
Care for the details
Willow Tree figures are cast from Susan’s originals and hand-painted. Follow the care information for your piece: the brand recommends a dry soft brush or cloth, avoiding water and cleaning solvents. Support the body when moving a figure and protect delicate projecting details.
Choosing Willow Tree
How do I choose a Willow Tree gift?
Start with the relationship or sentiment you want to express, then compare the gesture, title and size of the piece. Our Willow Tree Gift Guide can help narrow the choice.
Can I build a Willow Tree Nativity over time?
Yes. The Nativity collection is structured so you can begin with a central scene and add figures and display pieces over time. Check each product listing for dimensions before planning the display.
How should Willow Tree pieces be cared for?
Use gentle dry cleaning methods appropriate to the piece and avoid harsh household chemicals. Our Collectables Care & Display Guide has general handling guidance.
